BB cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"), and in Western markets, beauty balm. It is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, although the majority of larger beauty brands have introduced BB creams to Western markets.
BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.
These are my favourite bb creams, they all feel different to me, they have different
consistencys so i use them depending on what look and feel i want to go for, and actually
also depending on what the weather's like. i'll do a break down on how i feel about each
product under each picture. Enjoy......

What i think: Applied on my skin it has a really smooth feel almost like a silicon primer mixed with a tinted moisturiser but definately thicker than a tinted moisturiser, from all three bb creams this actually has the most coverage and feels to me more like a really light silky foundation with a dewy finish. This has spf 20 which is pretty decent for a bb cream, it also comes in six different shades, this is really good considering most bb creams have just like two/three shades. The shade i got is called 'cream glow', which is perfect for my nc42(mac) complextion. What i think: This product is actually very moisuturising, so you dont have to apply a moisturiser before applying this if you dont want to, it applies really smoothly, feels like a tinted moisturizer to me and has a dewy finish, but even though it has a dewy finish it doesnt feel greasy. It is quite light weight and probably has the least coverage from all three bb creams listed. It has an spf 15, and comes in just two different shades medium and fair, i got fair which i feel is a little light for me to be honest, but by the time i set it with my powder and bronzer it looks perfect so i guess it works. This cost £14.99. I have spotted this a few times in nigeria at Ebanor supermarket in lekki phase 1 (cant remeber the price now sorry).

What i think: This product kind of reminds me of a liquid foundation, and is the most densely pigmented and build-able coverage bb cream i have tried (if that makes sense), the product itself is quite thin for a BB Cream,but it blends in well once onto the skin, and sinks in a little, giving a beautiful matte finish and honestly looks great, this is probably the one i use the most from all bb creams listed, its great for warm weathers specially when u have oily skin, i have combination skin and tend to get quite oily in my t-zone, and this product definately helps keep my face matte the longest from all three products, (i also set all my bb creams with powder so this helps too). Its not the most hydrating, so i definately have to use a moisturizer before i use this. This product also contains spf 20. The only problem i actually have with this product is that is is quite runny and I find it messy when dispensing and recapping the product. I think this comes in three shade- fair/light, medium/deep, and deep. The shade i have is medium/deep.
