This post is about all my eyebrow products, have been on the hunt for the perfect eyebrow product and i think i have definitely found some favourites. I dont like eyebrows that look drawn in, prefer my eyebrows to actually look like they are mine (lol), more natural i guess, and thank God i actually have good brows have just noticed that the older i get the more i just need to fill in some parts, its nothing too obvious cause i actually dont fill in my brows all the time, just when i feel like, or if i get a mistake from grooming my brows (now we all know that happens from time to time). I also actually prefer brow gels to penciled in brows, they def look more natural and also keeps brows in place.
These are all my brow products....
from left-right: nyx eyebrow cake powder(dark brown), benefit gimme brow(medium deep), damone roberts brow tint(minx), blinkbrowbar ltd(indian chocolate), eylure defining brow gel(clear), revlon brow fantasy(dark brown)
So my favourites from the bunch are (in order)-
Benefit gimme brow (this is just amazing, has little fibers that help fill in brows but still gives a natural look and just really easy and quick to use, a definite favourite of mine).
Blinkbrowbar (i also really love this, almost as much as the benefit gimme brow, i would say this is more subtle, has the most natural look, like the colour just blends in perfect with the shade of my brows and just keeps everything in place).
Nyx eyebrow cake powder (i use this more for precise filling, takes more time than the others, the others are just fast and easy to use, but not a bad product at all, quite like this too, it has two different shades and also has a wax that helps keep brows in place, also love that it comes with its own little brushes, though the brushes are quite tiny, this is great for travelling).
Revlon brow fantasy (this is an okay product, dont use it that much, almost feel like i have my good days and bad days with this one, sometimes can tend to look cakey if that makes sense, dont know how to really describe it, but i think it depends on how it's used, i have had days where i like it, needs a light hand i think, this has a pencil on one side and a brow gel on the other).
The other products which is the damone roberts brow tint and the eylure brow kit i hardly ever use, maybe sometimes i'll use the eylure defining brow gel if i'm not wearing makeup but just want my eyebrows to stay in place. I actually do use the eylure arch enhancer from time to time (this is actually not a bad product i quite like this). I probably would have liked the damone roberts one but the colour is just way too dark for me.
I got two of the products here in nigeria, but the rest i got when i travelled (cant remember where exactly sorry). I got the nyx eyebrow cake powder from www.thebeautyboon.com (this was 2,300 naira) and the revlon brow fantasy i got from www. accessorising.com (this was 2,200 naira).
